Boundaries Shrunk, Media became Social
Global Local village, with boundaries so few
Inter-Connected to a degree, No one ever knew.


The global virus lurked in the shadows in a wet market
Young & old alike, all being its Target.
It struck beyond Caste, Creed, Race & Nationality
Disrupting Life, in present & for Posterity.


Precautions set in, in hope it could be Averted
Schools closed, Offices shut, All roads stood deserted
Business suffered, Markets went into a meltdown
The virus spread Unabated, Forcing a Lockdown.


Social Distancing, Sanitization & Testing of suspect carriers
Doctors, Health workers & officials fought COVID19 like warriors
Resources were mobilized, COVID Hospitals set up overnight
People from all walks pitched in , Everyone joined the fight.

People picked up Life skills, also ran the odd Errand
More Family time saw many relations Mend
Tik tok ruled the roost & many Recipes got penned
But people also looked Inwards, Minimalism became the Trend.


Amidst it all, Nature Healed, Steady but Sure
All wildlife Rejoiced, The air got Pure
Serene & unadulterated, seemed every view
Like a Pristine drop of the Morning Dew.

Humanity will eventually prevail over the Pandemic
But the lessons learnt shouldn’t remain Just Academic
On Respecting the boundaries of Nature, we should stress
in our never ending journey of Growth & Progress.
